How Should Men Prepare for a Brazilian Waxing Hair Removal Procedure
Posted in Brazilian Hair Removal on May 11, 2012
We have already talked here that men are welcome to try out the hair removal technique known as Brazilian hair removal without any doubts and if you have decided to take that step, then you certainly want to know what to do to prepare for a full Brazilian waxing session, if you are a man. I will walk you through the entire process in this article, so let’s get it started!
The first thing that you should understand before going for a full Brazilian hair removal (or partial, depending on your liking) is that the person that will perform this – either a man or woman (usually women to do this) – are not there for any other reasons than to professionally remove your pubic hair. Don’t ever try to ask for some other favors, because that’s not the place to get any and you will only make a big fool of yourself!
Now that we’ve got that sorted out, let’s see how should men prepare for a full Brazilian:
- Take care of hygiene. It’s best to have a shower before going for a Brazilian hair removal
- Keep your skin dry. Do not apply any lotion as it will make the waxing more difficult
- Don’t go with hair too short. Your hair should be around 0.25 inches long for waxing to be possible. Also, don’t worry if you are “too hairy” – there is no such thing as too hairy before a full Brazilian and if the hair is indeed too long, it will be professionally trimmed down on the spot
- Also, it would be best if you could wear some loose clothes (including boxers) to reduce the risk of getting an irritation after the procedure.
And this is it! It’s not a very big deal to get ready for your first Brazilian hair removal and you will see that after passing the first “test” everything will be fine and most likely you will be so delighted with the result that you will go for it again!
Brazilian Wax for Men – Yes or No?
Posted in Brazilian Hair Removal on May 7, 2012
Women got their equal rights to men and this also means that men are allowed to perform some actions that until recently, only women were allowed to. This includes Brazilian waxing as well, a technique to remove unwanted hair from the most private areas by using the Brazilian wax. Is this something acceptable or all men should consider this a big “No, can’t do!” Let’s find out in this article.
What does Brazilian Wax for Men mean?
In case you are not familiar with the technique, the Brazilian waxing (be it for men or women) refers to removing all the pubic hair to offer a fresh look. A full Brazilian for men can be achieved through other methods (including waxing, removing the hair with a razor, laser hair removal or using creams) but waxing is the best way to do it because of the effects.
This means that men who go for a full Brazilian should opt for waxing because a laser hair removal is permanent and we can’t know how manly some will feel after a lifetime with no pubic hair. Using the razor has very poor effects because it can cause rashes and can hurt that delicate area, not to mention the fact that it will actually make the hair thicker and more unpleasant to a female companion.
Brazlian waxing for men, on the other hand, should be considered the safest way to do it: even though the pain might seem unbearable for some, men should consider that women go for full Brazilian waxing without a problem – if they can, men can do it too. And it’s really not that much of a pain anyway!
Is Brazilian waxing for men something for the gay only?
This is a completely wrong per-conception. Deciding to opt for hygiene and completely remove the pubic hair is not something that just homosexuals would do: heterosexual can go for a full Brazilian waxing and carry on doing their jobs normally. Hair removal is NOT gender specific and you don’t have to be gay to do it. Please try and get over this awful way of thinking!
Why should men go for a full Brazilian?
Waxing your pubic hair is extremely healthy: it’s easier to keep the area clean, pubes won’t remain in your partner’s mouth when performing orally (and having to stop to remove hair from the mouth is really unpleasant for both partners), it looks better and, for men of all ages: having no hair down there means that your “toy” will look larger.
And since there is basically no risk of major injury and the hair will grow back anyway, there is no reason not to try a Brazilian waxing as a man. If you don’t like it, you won’t ever do it again!
